Here are the "before" photos, showing the need for this project:

Lots of rust visible in the undercarriage; the wood parts, like these running boards, have generally rotted out, too.

Even in black and white, you can see the rust on the boiler, looking out the engineer's front window.

Some of our inspirations for the project:

The locomotive on display in Forks, Washington. They built a shelter over their lokey some years ago, and it is well-protected!
